Renaissance
Renaissance was set up by central government in 2002 to address years of underfunding in the museum sector. It aims to transform England's regional museums; making them world class and fit for the 21st century.
Through this programme nine regional Hubs of up to five museums and museum services have been set up to work together and with other partners to make museums' offering more enjoyable for everyone. Renaissance is funded by the Museums, Libraries and Archives Council (MLA).
Renaissance in the East of England
